Popcorn Stand; Play date

Who doesn't like market stands on play dates and parties? If your market stand is selling popcorns it's even better! With a very handyman H in the house I can get anything made in wood instead of using cardboard all the time (although I do love cardboard but wood is stronger!) I wanted to buy the $20 market stand made of cardboard from Ikea and when I showed the picture to H he said he can make one for me in half the price "woooohoooo!!" 

Perfect with red/white and green/white stripes It was the perfect height for children to reach out and pick up their popcorn cups. I would have loved to have a popcorn machine out there just popping the popcorns infront of the kids but someone would have to be incharge all the time so I decided not to do that this time. I found these red and white cups perfect for the popcorns and filled them with Cobs  organic slightly sweet popcorns.

I found this vintage popcorn printed canvas at a dollar store and it went perfectly with the popcorn stand especially when I didn't get the time to put a chalkboard in front of the stand for the party!

Thanks to the H's wonderful skills and crafstmanship E now has two market stands to play with her friends and party on!
