E is a very active toddler and loves to play outdoors. I wanted to make her very warm but comfortable clothes that she can wear during her play outdoors. So I have made a few jackets for her and they were really as the size was so petite! This one is for my little red riding hood, as it's red and she wears them on her very comfy riding pants that I made for her previously.
I used shearling fabric as the lining for this cotton jacket. It is a kimono style jacket with front tabs for fastening. I used self fabric buttons for the tabs and rolled the sleeves such that the shearling wool shows out on the front. 
E loves this jacket so much that she shows it off to other parents quoting "jacket mummy made" :)
